Peaceful night in Vermont

A beautiful spot to spend a night! The shower was awesome and we had a nice dip in the river too. It was very peaceful and the view from the site is wonderful. It was convenient that there was power to hook the trailer up to. Everything was well manicured and looked very tidy.

Camping by the river

My fiance and I tent camped at campsite B - we couldn't have been happier with it. Our host Nelson was super kind and thoughtful - showing us around the property and all the amenities. There is a propane heated shower that was just built and is very nice. There's a swimming spot along the river that's quite refreshing. Site B is down in the field, while site A ( with the hookups ) is up by the road. The two sites aren't obviously visible from one another. There is a baseball field across the river, which happened to be used on the Saturday we were there - but the trees block the view of it for the most part. Of course, the best part was meeting Nelson's friend's dog Jay. 10/10 we would stay here again!

Campsite B

This was our first time visiting Nelson’s site and boy did it check every box on our list. It was perfectly set next to the White River and in a meadow overlooking the rolling hills. It was so accommodating from the outdoor shower, and extremely clean porter potty to the fire pit grill station and hanging swing. Our dog Cooper enjoyed the campsite so much from hanging by the hammock, running down to the water a million times and roaming the trail around the field I highly recommend bringing your pets here (although the road is close by, Campsite B is far enough from it to feel very secluded). As far as phone service it was very little to none, but that’s how we wanted it so it worked great. We were lucky to meet the hosts and chat about future plans for the property. They work hard to accommodate everyone and we appreciated all the info regarding the site and hiking recommendations! We will most definitely be coming back in the near future!

Lovely space

We loved our time at this site! My first impression was it’s close to the road and has traffic noise during the day. There is also a ball field directly across the river that made us feel it wasn’t as private as we thought it would be. None of that ended up mattering. We had the best time! Lovely lovely well appointed site. Picnic tables, fire pit, hammock, swing, Porto potty, and outdoor shower. Even a generator (I hat we did not need) and solar lights! We went in the river and lounged in the field. Amazing spot, We would come back in a heartbeat!!!

Camping with kids

They took obvious care of the site, making it pleasant and with all the things you might need. It was clean, well maintained, and even had flowers on the table. It was quiet and remote.

Down by the river

A beautiful site that has all the amenities! The site was set up with a warm outdoor shower which was wonderful after a day of activities. The little touches like bug spray and lamps to light the way were very nice. Campsite B has a hammock, a larger fire pit with chairs, and a couple’s swing, is a bit closer to the river, and to the shower and bathroom. We used the site as a great place to start The Ranger bike loops. Nelson was very reachable and helpful! I’d definitely stay here again if I’m ever in the area!

Great campsite! A lot of privacy, right by the river, and all the amenities you could want. Can't wait to go back!

Campsite B 

Second time here

This was my second time staying at this site - just as amazing as the first time. The host Nelson was kind enough to add a bike repair stand, and generator since the last time I was there. Thankfully I didn't need either this time, but this is one of the nicest hipcamp spots I've ever been to. Certainly will go again next year.

Nelson always makes sure everything is okay. Friendly. I like the campsite B. close to the river. Of course the view is beautiful. Outdoor shower with hot water. The toilet is clean. Grill equipment is also provided. absolutely will back.

Amazing Campsite! We loved this campsite location! It was a beautiful spot! Our host, Nelson, could not have been more accommodating and thoughtful! The outdoor shower was really nice, and the port-a-potty was super clean! We loved our experience here! 10/10.
